Materials Planner, Quality Inspector, Stores Officer, Stores Supervisor
Sealant SL-PR-142 with 365-day life; torque tool TW-120 serial TW120-0087 with certificate CAL-2608-044.
Before you begin
- Shelf-life item has batch identity
- Serialized instrument is registered
- CLEAN laboratory and calibration certificate versions exist in Documents
Procedure
- 1
Receive shelf-life stock with manufacture/expiry dates and run the expiry sweep.
- 2
Request re-test and have an independent inspector approve or reject it using the stored laboratory report version.
- 3
Make the instrument overdue and attempt an operational stock use.
- 4
Test a time-limited emergency override and expiry of that override.
- 5
Open the calibration certificate action, select a CLEAN same-site controlled-document version offered for that exact instrument instance, record a passing result and confirm only its tracked calibration block is released.
Expected result
- Expired stock is blocked atomically
- Requester cannot approve their own re-life
- Same-site CLEAN evidence is mandatory for both re-life and calibration decisions
- The calibration UI never asks the operator to type a raw document UUID
- Overdue instrument use is rejected even before a sweep
- Only the matching certificate or valid controlled override releases the tracked block
