Receipt labels
Preview, generate and download a vendor-neutral GS1-128 SVG label from an exact governed receipt identity while retaining generation and download integrity evidence.
Screen orientation
Eligible receipt identities and label history are site/classification scoped. Generation requires the label authority; downloads are authenticated and attributable.
Choose one eligible receipt line and, where applicable, one machine-readable serial identity. Preview validates the payload before generation; the history register preserves label number, identity, hash and download count.
Field reference
The entries below describe the current screen controls and read-only values. They do not relax server-side validation, site scope, classification handling or required independence in a governed decision.
| Field or value | Control | Required or shown when | How to use or read it | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Receipt line | Select | Required. | Select the exact received item revision and identity context that the physical label will mark. | Pins receipt, part, quantity, site, batch and classification source facts. |
| Machine-readable serial identity | Select | Required for a serialized label. | Choose the canonical stock serial offered for the selected physical instance. OEM and internal aliases remain visible but distinct. | Sets the serial encoded in the governed GS1 payload. |
| Label quantity | Decimal | Required; positive and within the selected receipt identity. | Enter the physical quantity represented by this label; use one for a serial-controlled unit. | Becomes the encoded quantity evidence. |
| Physical size | Select | Required. | Choose 100 × 50 mm or 75 × 25 mm according to the approved media and available marking space. | Controls fixed SVG layout without changing content authority. |
| GS1 data | Read-only preview | Derived after preview. | Review part, lot, serial, quantity and receipt-derived values before generating the retained record. | Shows the exact machine-readable payload that will be hashed. |
| Label number / SHA-256 | Read-only history | Present after generation. | Use the label number and content hash to verify the stored SVG rather than relying on a file name. | Identifies immutable generation evidence. |
| Download count | Read-only | Present in history. | Use it as attributable retrieval history, not as proof the physical label was printed or applied. | Reports authenticated downloads only. |
Actions and effects
When to use: After receipt line, identity, quantity and size are complete.
What it does: Validates and renders a non-retained preview; it does not create a label record.
When to use: After the preview is confirmed by an authorised user.
What it does: Creates the immutable label record and downloads the verified SVG.
When to use: For a retained visible label.
What it does: Returns the stored label and increments attributable download evidence; it does not print or dispatch hardware.
Lists and states
- Generation and download history: label number, GS1 type, classification, item, receipt identity, size, SHA-256 and download count explain the retained artifact.
Authority boundary
Labels encode existing authorised identity evidence. They do not create a receipt, stock, serial, custody event, printer job, ZPL/RFID integration or proof of physical application.
