Flow 28 — Production readiness to controlled operation dispatch

Independently approve exact production resources and competencies, qualify a named operator, release one exact ready dispatch, and capture balanced WIP/labour evidence before Flow 27 operation execution.

Overview

Inventory meaning

Flow 28 is an execution gate only. It reads physical identity, calibration and user status live, but never issues a calibration certificate, changes a user or physical asset, moves stock, changes assembly custody or controls a machine/PLC.

Responsible roles

Manufacturing Engineer definition author → different Production Manager definition approver and operator qualifier → different Production Planner dispatch planner → different Production Supervisor dispatch releaser → exact named Production Operator executor → Auditor read-only

Process

  1. 1
    Govern resources

Version work centres and exact physical tool/equipment identities; cite the calibration instrument where calibration is mandatory.

    Read-only source references
  2. 2
    Govern competency

Version the requirement and independently qualify one named active Production Operator for a bounded period.

    No HR authority
  3. 3
    Plan dispatch

Bind one released build operation to exact approved versions, current qualification and a planned window.

    No material move
  4. 4
    Independent release

A separate supervisor rechecks every live readiness source and releases or rejects the dispatch.

    Runtime gate only
  5. 5
    Execute evidence

Only the assigned operator records balanced WIP, labour and type-specific results through Flow 27.

    Evidence, not custody
    READ ONLY

Role handoff

Manufacturing Engineer definition author → different Production Manager definition approver and operator qualifier → different Production Planner dispatch planner → different Production Supervisor dispatch releaser → exact named Production Operator executor → Auditor read-only

Detailed reference chapters

Detailed steps

  1. 1

As Manufacturing Engineer, open Manufacturing → Production readiness and define a work centre. Define each controlled tool/equipment with its exact active physical identity and exact current calibration instrument when calibration is required; submit each immutable version.

  2. 2

As a different Production Manager, approve only valid exact definitions. Create and approve the competency version, then qualify one active same-site Production Operator for a bounded validity period using controlled evidence.

  3. 3

After Flow 27 schedules the exact build, act as Production Planner and plan each operation dispatch with one approved work centre, optional approved tool/equipment, exact competency version and currently qualified named operator.

  4. 4

As a different Production Supervisor, release only while resource versions remain active, physical identities remain ACTIVE, required calibration is VALID/DUE_SOON or validly overridden, competency remains approved, qualification remains current and the named operator remains active and site-scoped.

  5. 5

As the exact assigned Production Operator, record operation evidence. Started WIP must equal completed plus rejected WIP; PASS requires positive completed WIP; inspection/test requires measurements and software load requires the exact version.

  6. 6

As Auditor, confirm each dispatch completes once, each execution has one WIP/labour record and all stock, ledger, assembly, calibration, user, physical-identity and machine-control sources remain unchanged.

Field-by-field practice data

Use a disposable training tenant

Define one governed work-centre resource and plan an exact qualified-operator dispatch. The page shows sample set A; the workbook includes independent A, B and C values.

Field names match the current application labels. Select existing approved records where shown, leave optional values blank unless they genuinely apply, and never copy fictitious TRAIN values into live work.

End state

Every manufacturing operation attempt is authorized by an independently released exact dispatch with live readiness, a named qualified operator and balanced WIP/labour evidence, without duplicating the authority of calibration, identity, HR, Assembly, Inventory or machine control.
