Finance

Govern statutory and localisation evidence, then recognise exact operational facts through controlled costing, assets, payables, receivables, cash, journals and reporting.

Available now

Available now for immutable statutory tax/localisation configuration and deterministic normal-charge supplier-invoice tax application; governed standard cost, inventory valuation, WIP, completion variance and COGS; source-linked fixed assets; controlled budgets; procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, cash, approved exchange rates, bank reconciliation, governed journals, comparative statements, classified cash flow, controlled group consolidation, reciprocal intercompany matching, approved elimination and immutable close snapshots. Customer-document tax, reverse charge/withholding, statutory numbering/returns/filing, direct bank connectivity and treasury forecasting remain planned.

What this module does

Finance owns statutory configuration and monetary recognition while Supply retains purchase commitments, Inventory retains physical custody and Manufacturing retains execution evidence. It governs exact jurisdictional definitions, values operating facts and source-linked assets, controls both cash directions, classifies cash movement and closes comparative statements from immutable journals.

Primary roles

Tax Accountant, Accounts Payable Accountant, Accounts Receivable Accountant, Cost Accountant, Finance Accountant, Finance Controller, Treasury Accountant and read-only Auditor.

Inventory meaning

Finance does not create or amend physical stock or identity. It references exact accepted operational sources to post inventory, WIP, variance, COGS and fixed-asset value without changing quantity, state, location, ownership or custody.

Capabilities

Legal entity and fiscal control

Site-bound legal entities, base currency, fiscal periods and a controlled chart of accounts.

Statutory tax and localisation

Immutable legal registration, locale, fiscal, tax-rule and statutory document-series profiles with independent approval and no transaction calculation or issuance.

Operational costing

Approved standard costs applied to exact material consumption, completed output and customer fulfilment.

Inventory, WIP and COGS

Immutable material, conversion, completion, variance and cost-of-goods journals without changing physical stock.

Fixed assets and depreciation

Approved asset classes, exact procurement or manufacturing source value, in-service, transfer, impairment, disposal and independently posted straight-line depreciation.

Three-way supplier invoice match

Exact PO line, eligible receipt allocation, price variance and governed maker-checker approval.

Payable adjustments

Supplier credit and debit notes against posted invoices with independent approval and immutable adjustment journals.

Payment proposals

Exact outstanding invoice selection, duplicate reservation prevention and independent approval before treasury execution.

Controlled payment execution

Masked bank masters, idempotent exact batches, independent release, accepted or failed results, partial settlement and retry.

Bank reconciliation

Source-checksummed statements, exact balance validation, deterministic payment candidates, explicit exceptions and independent approval.

Financial reporting

Comparative Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet from exact closed snapshots, plus account-to-journal drill-through.

Classified cash flow

Approved date-effective account policy, operating/investing/financing movement and close-blocking unresolved classifications.

Immutable accounting

Balanced inventory, WIP, variance, COGS, AP, AR, cash and settlement journals with source snapshots and a trial balance.

Authority boundary

Finance recognises source facts and asset value but cannot create purchase orders, receipts, stock movements, physical asset identities or manufacturing execution.

Planned expansion

Transactional tax determination, statutory numbering and returns, direct bank connectivity, payment-file exchange, treasury forecasting and management accounting.

Inputs, outputs and handoffs

Receives

Legal registration and jurisdiction evidence, acknowledged purchase commitments, exact eligible receipt and posted supplier-invoice lines, approved valuation and asset-class policies, accepted assembly-consumption and completion ledger facts, approved manufacturing cost rollups, approved customer sales-order demand and fulfilment, invoice/adjustment evidence, configured legal-entity fiscal calendars, accepted bank results and controlled bank statements.

Produces

Immutable approved statutory/localisation profiles, deterministic supplier-invoice tax applications and journal pins, governed standard cost, inventory value events, WIP, variance, COGS, source-linked fixed assets, depreciation, impairment and disposal journals, controlled operating and capital budgets, actual-versus-budget management reporting, payables and receivables, controlled cash, approved bank reconciliation, governed general and recurring journals, comparative and consolidated statements, classified cash flow, reciprocal intercompany eliminations and immutable close snapshots.

Handoff

Supply owns purchase commitment, Inventory owns physical stock and asset identity, Manufacturing owns execution and cost evidence, and Customer Commercial owns approved demand. Finance applies one exact approved statutory profile/rule to explicit supplier-invoice facts and independently approved accounting policies and budgets to exact operational sources; it does not infer place of supply, process customer tax/reverse charge/withholding, allocate statutory numbers or file returns.
