Capacity and cost evidence
Govern exact-resource calendars and evidence-rate versions, inspect finite dispatch loads and read immutable operation cost evidence.
Screen orientation
Manufacturing capacity permissions, site and clearance apply. Manufacturing Engineer authors; a different Production Manager approves. Dispatch load and cost evidence are generated by their owning operations.
Calendar and rate-card definition panels feed immutable registers. Read-only load and cost sections explain reservations, consumption and per-operation evidence.
Field reference
The entries below describe the current screen controls and read-only values. They do not relax server-side validation, site scope, classification handling or required independence in a governed decision.
| Field or value | Control | Required or shown when | How to use or read it | Result |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Exact approved resource · IANA timezone · Valid from · Valid to | Calendar header | Required. | Pin one approved resource and bounded local-time calendar. | Scopes the calendar version. |
| Day · Local start · Local end · Capacity units | Interval controls | At least one valid interval is required. | Define non-overlapping bounded weekly capacity. | Creates the finite availability model. |
| Definition note | Long text | Required. | Explain calendar purpose and exceptions. | Becomes immutable definition evidence. |
| Site · Code · Currency · Name | Rate-card header | Required. | Create one site/currency evidence-rate identity. | Scopes rate selection. |
| Labour / minute · Work centre / minute · Tooling / minute | Decimal rates | Required as applicable. | Record evidence rates with exact decimal values. | Freezes the derivation inputs. |
| Valid from · Valid to · Evidence-rate note | Validity fields | Required as applicable. | Bound and explain the rate version. | Controls future dispatch eligibility. |
| Controlled capacity evidence | Controlled evidence | Required. | Select CLEAN definition evidence. | Pins the authored version. |
| Decision · Attributable note · Controlled transition evidence | Review controls | Required. | A different Production Manager records the outcome with CLEAN evidence. | Releases/rejects the exact version. |
| Finite dispatch load | Read-only table | Derived. | Read planned/reserved/consumed/cancelled loads by exact resource/version. | Explains capacity use. |
| Immutable operation cost evidence | Read-only table | Derived at execution. | Read minutes, rates, WIP and fingerprints; do not treat them as financial postings. | Explains operation evidence cost. |
Actions and effects
When to use: When controlled availability or evidence rates change.
What it does: Creates an immutable draft/successor.
When to use: By a different Production Manager.
What it does: Controls future selection without rewriting pinned dispatches.
When to use: For authorised Manufacturing evidence review.
What it does: Reads generated immutable facts and performs no transaction.
Lists and states
- Calendar, rate, load and cost register: use status, exact version and accountable actors to distinguish current work from retained history.
- History and evidence: hashes and source/version references identify the immutable facts used by each decision.
Authority boundary
This surface governs planning/evidence inputs. It performs no maintenance, machine control, payroll, GL, invoice, payment, inventory valuation, stock or custody posting.
