Flow 29 — Governed finite capacity to immutable operation cost evidence
Independently approve exact resource calendars and evidence-rate versions, reserve finite overlapping load at dispatch release, release it on rejection/cancellation, and freeze one cost snapshot for each executed operation.
Overview
Flow 29 creates scheduling reservations and evidence-only cost records. It never controls a machine, opens maintenance work, posts payroll or the general ledger, values inventory, moves stock or changes Assembly custody.
Manufacturing Engineer calendar/rate author → different Production Manager approver → Production Planner exact-version selector → different Production Supervisor finite-load releaser → exact named Production Operator evidence recorder → Auditor read-only
Process
- 1Govern calendars
Version exact-resource local intervals, exceptions, validity and finite capacity.
No maintenance/machine authority - 2Govern rates
Version site, currency and labour/work-centre/tooling evidence rates.
No payroll/GL authority - 3Plan exact load
Planner binds exact approved calendar and cost-rate versions to one readiness dispatch.
Planned load only - 4Reserve atomically
Supervisor locks resources, rechecks intervals and rejects overlapping load beyond capacity.
Finite reservation - 5Consume evidenceREAD ONLY
Execution consumes reserved load and freezes actual-minute WIP/cost components and fingerprint.
Evidence, not posting
Role handoff

Detailed steps
- 1
As Manufacturing Engineer, open Manufacturing → Capacity & cost evidence and define an exact active resource calendar in its IANA timezone. Tools/equipment are single physical capacity; work centres may have bounded parallel units. Submit the immutable version.
- 2
As a different Production Manager, reject an invalid version and confirm it remains immutable, or approve the exact interval/exception/validity source. Repeat for one site/currency cost-rate card whose labour, work-centre and tooling amounts are evidence rates only.
- 3
As Production Planner in Production readiness, select the exact approved work-centre calendar, optional exact tooling calendar and exact effective cost-rate version with the resource, competency and operator inputs.
- 4
As a different Production Supervisor, release the dispatch. Confirm the transaction locks exact resources, rechecks local calendar validity and refuses an overlapping exact-tool load when capacity one is already reserved. Reject or cancel and confirm its planned/reserved loads become CANCELLED.
- 5
As the exact assigned operator, execute only a RELEASED dispatch. Confirm all resource loads become CONSUMED and one immutable cost record derives labour, work-centre, optional tooling and total cost from actual minutes plus balanced WIP.
- 6
As Auditor, reconcile exact rate/calendar fingerprints and unchanged maintenance, machine, payroll, accounting, inventory valuation, stock, ledger, Assembly custody and physical-identity witnesses.
Field-by-field practice data
Create an approved capacity calendar and evidence-rate version for the training assembly cell. The page shows sample set A; the workbook includes independent A, B and C values.
Field names match the current application labels. Select existing approved records where shown, leave optional values blank unless they genuinely apply, and never copy fictitious TRAIN values into live work.
Define capacity
Select the exact approved resource, enter local working windows and submit for independent approval.
| Exact field name | Requirement | Sample value A | How to use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Exact approved resource | Select existing | TRAIN-A-CELL-A v1 | Select the current approved resource. |
| IANA timezone | Required | Asia/Kolkata | Use an exact IANA timezone identifier. |
| Valid from | Required | 2026-10-01 | Start of capacity applicability. |
| Valid to | Required | 2026-12-31 | End of capacity applicability. |
| Day | Required | MONDAY | Add each approved working day separately. |
| Local start | Required | 09:00 | Use local wall-clock time. |
| Local end | Required | 17:00 | Must follow start. |
| Capacity units | Required | 1 | Use the approved concurrent capacity. |
| Definition note | Required | One controlled assembly position for training builds. | Explain the capacity basis. |
| Currency | Required | INR | Use the governed evidence-rate currency. |
| Labour / minute | Required | 12.50 | Evidence rate only; not payroll. |
Expected result: Reservations use exact approved windows; no payroll, accounting or stock fact is posted.
End state
Each operation execution is backed by non-overbooked exact resource reservations and one immutable rate/WIP/cost snapshot, while every maintenance, machine, financial, valuation, stock and custody source remains outside Manufacturing authority.
