Assurance plans

Govern reusable inspection/test plans and calculate immutable assurance analytics from the complete matching inspection, FAI and NCR source population.

Screen orientation

Who can use it

Quality Assurance permissions, assigned site and clearance apply. Plan author, QA approver, analyst and analytics reviewer are separate authorities.

How the screen is arranged

The first panel authors an item/supplier plan and its ordered characteristics. The second creates a period analysis; the registers retain exact versions, source fingerprints and decisions.

Field reference

The entries below describe the current screen controls and read-only values. They do not relax server-side validation, site scope, classification handling or required independence in a governed decision.

Field or valueControlRequired or shown whenHow to use or read itResult
SiteSelectRequired.Choose the site owning the controlled plan and source population.Scopes plan use and analysis.
Approved item revisionSelectRequired.Select the exact active approved revision rather than the latest item label alone.Pins the reusable plan subject.
Optional approved supplierSelectOptional.Select only when the plan is supplier-specific.Narrows matching source evidence.
Plan typeSelectRequired.Choose the intended inspection/test use.Classifies the immutable plan.
Sampling strategy · Sample size · AQL levelStructured controlsRequired as applicable to the chosen strategy.Record the objective sampling basis and bounded quantities.Freezes how future work should sample.
Acceptance ruleLong textRequired.State an objective pass/fail rule.Becomes the plan-level acceptance basis.
Number · Type · Criticality · RecordingCharacteristic controlsAt least one complete characteristic is required.Create ordered, independently interpretable checks.Freezes the characteristic definition.
Requirement reference · Unit · Requirement · Acceptance criteria · Inspection methodCharacteristic controlsRequired according to characteristic type.Cite the exact requirement and measurable method.Defines the retained result contract.
Controlled plan evidenceControlled evidenceRequired.Select CLEAN evidence for the authored definition.Pins evidence to the plan version.
Active plan · Period start · Period endAnalysis selectorsRequired to generate analytics.Choose one active plan and a bounded reporting period.Selects the deterministic whole source population.
Objective · Analyst interpretationTextRequired for an analysis.State the review objective and interpretation without replacing calculated facts.Adds attributable context to the immutable result.
Controlled analysis evidence · Decision · Controlled decision evidenceEvidence and decision controlsRequired at their respective transitions.Use CLEAN evidence and an independent decision.Pins the analysis and review evidence.

Actions and effects

Create or replace plan

When to use: When an exact item/supplier subject needs a reusable plan.
What it does: Creates an immutable draft or successor; it changes no source item or inspection.

Approve plan

When to use: By a different QA Head after a fresh subject-fingerprint check.
What it does: Makes the exact version active for matching work.

Generate assurance analysis

When to use: For an active plan and completed period.
What it does: Freezes every matching disposed inspection, final FAI and item NCR under the code-owned calculation.

Review analytics

When to use: By a different QA Head while the source fingerprint remains current.
What it does: Approves or rejects the immutable result without changing any source record.

Lists and states

  • Plan and analysis register: use status, exact version and accountable actors to distinguish current work from retained history.
  • History and evidence: hashes and source/version references identify the immutable facts used by each decision.

Authority boundary

Plans and analytics govern and read evidence only. They do not create or modify items, suppliers, receipts, inspections, FAI, NCR, custody, stock or notification delivery.
